MOVIES: CLEVELAND INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

What!? You haven't been yet!? The festival ends this weekend.

When: Begins 9:10 a.m. today, 9:30 a.m. Sunday.

BASEBALL: CLEVELAND INDIANS

The Tribe's homestand against the Chicago White Sox continues today; call for availability.

ARENA FOOTBALL: CLEVELAND GLADIATORS

Indoor football, high scoring, blaring music -- what more does a gridiron fan want? The Chicago Rush come to town for the Gladiators' home opener.

GETTING OUT: BURNING RIVER ROLLER GIRLS

The Hard Knockers clash with the Cleveland Steamers, then the Rolling Pin-Ups take on Hellbombers.

THE HOLD STEADY

As we wrote on cleveland.com, the band "rocks with fervor and boozy abandon in songs that are a pitch-perfect blend of punk attitude and classic-rock mythology." Does that sound inviting or what? It's an all-ages show.

LOVEMUFFIN PALOOZA

Jack Fords, Jane Dough, The Flavor and Dan McCoy and The Standing 8s all play one of the best-named music fests ever. The night will be broadcast via Rock Capital Radio and include a raffle to benefit the Cleveland Animal Protective League.

Pompous [Expletive]: Plays rock and country classics. In the wine bar, 8 p.m., no cover.

Fifty Amp Fuse: Hailing from Detroit, this band plays the funky rock and soul sounds of your favorite bands over the years. In the music hall, 10 p.m., $10.

CLEVELAND ORCHESTRA

The orchestra's final trip to Miami this season is around the corner. But now you can enjoy the Cleveland debut of Czech conductor Jiri Belohlavek. He leads a concert featuring Dvorak's Symphony No. 7, Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2, with pianist Horacio Gutierrez, and Haydn's Symphony No. 96.

CAVANI STRING QUARTET
